Four Toms
One Man. Four Toms.
Four Toms is the moniker of Thomas Degan’s recording persona. It derives from his early recordings when he did multitrack barbershop quartet singing. He now also incorporates instrumentation, midi, and sometimes video elements. He primarily releases his music on soundcloud.
I arrange, record, and self-produce my own music. Here is a sample of some of my recent projects.
- Shenandoah – Traditional American Shanty – Arr: Marshall Bartholomew
- Half of the Way – By: Ryan Lerman – Arr: Tom Degan
- Trashin’ the Camp from Tarzan – By: Phil Collins – Arr: Moses Hogan
- I Don’t Care Much from Cabaret – By John Kander & Fred Ebb
- A beautifully haunting song from my favorite musical. I sang and played the piano on this track.
- Santa Lost a Ho – By: The Christmas Jug Band
- I have recorded a lot of Christmas music over the years. This was one of my first real attempts at recording multiple instruments. This track has keyboard, ukulele, banjo, kazoo, and hardart.
- Mam’selle – By: Edmund Goulding & Mack Gordon – Arr: Tom Sando
- Your First Day in Heaven – By: Stuart Hamblen – Arr: Aaron Dale
- Pennsylvania College of Technology Alma Mater – Arr: Tom Degan
- I arranged and recorded this for my Alma Mater to replace their previous recording.
- Carribean Wind – By Tom Degan
- I wrote this for a friend of mine who needed a title song for some youtube videos his company was producing on boat repair.
